These days, there are so many business opportunities to choose from that it makes your head spin. It's almost like every week you see a couple new ones you've never heard of before. This makes it very easy and tempting to sign up for as many as you can, especially if they are free. If the business opportunities you are joining aren't free, then you really need to slow down or else you'll find yourself in a heap of losses.
You see, it's difficult enough to build just one business opportunity. What makes you think you can build multiple business opportunities at once. I only mention this because a lot of the members in my down lines try something I'm offering like Global Domains International or The New Plan Network. They like the compensation plan and everything, but before they can get started with these great and affordable business opportunities they find something else they are interested in. This just doesn't work folks.
It is true that you need to test what's out there. They say that the average millionaire took about 7 business failures before he or she found something that worked. So the goal is to find something that works for you. GDI and NPN work for me just fine, so I'm sticking with these. Yeah, I might take a look at another opportunity out there. But if I see it was a $30.00 plus a month fee, I'll most likely stay away from it. I only join business opportunities if they are free. This is because I don't believe you should have to pay to promote someone else's products or services for them. It just doesn't make logical sense.
Make sure not to fall for all the hype. A good example of this was when Wowzza came out. I saw e-mails for it everywhere on the Internet and thought it would be the next best thing. I tried it for a few months, referred some people got some spillover, etc.. Then I saw those people I signed up cancel. It was difficult working on all those business opportunities. I knew I already built GDI and NPN up where they were profitable for me. So I cut my losses with Wowzza. A few months after they opened up, it was like you never knew they existed. No one was promoting them anymore. This is an example of hype.
Find the one or two business opportunities that work for you, then stick with them to the end of time. It takes time to build a business. It doesn't happen overnight.
